Fiona's Bead Bar

This weblog serves as a showcase for my bead projects. They started mostly as gifts for my friends. I normally do only one-time pieces, so they are kinda "exclusive", if you know what I mean. :) Do check back often for updates!

If you see anything you like, feel free to email me, and we will work something out.

Blue heart-shaped double-sided pendant

ONE-OF-A-KIND NECKLACE.
THE PENDANT IS HANDMADE.

I suddenly had an idea of a double-sided pendant.
It is of a different colour and texture.
On one side it is a plain pearl blue colour,
On the other side it is a white striped heart with a dark blue border.
Mmm... I am sooo proud of myself! Wahahaha~~! Kidding!

** Did I mention the pendant is double-sided? Wahahahaha~~!

Blue clay earrings

ONE-OF-A-KIND EARRINGS.
THESE BEADS ARE HANDMADE.

I decided to go blue last weekend, so I created blue-themed beads...
And after that, mostly blue jewellery.
Blue also seemed to be a popular colour amongst my friends.
*Yawn! Boring~! Heehee~~! :-P

Another of my blue creation.
I love those cookie cutters! They give me a perfect shape most of the time.
Yeah, the heart-shape came out of a cookie cutter.
Why aren’t you surprised? Heehee~~!

Colourful clay earrings

I played around with colours when I am making these beads.
I realised that by placing different colours another way, I get a different effect.
Bright and cheerful...
These are perfect for summer by the beach! Yummy!
(Like we have summer in Singapore!! Haha~~!)

"Tree bark" pendant - SOLD

ONE-OF-A-KIND NECKLACE.
THE PENDANT IS HANDMADE.

Dad says this pendant looks like a tree bark,
But I dun see the resemblance.
Anyhow, a name is a name.

Clay earrings with swirls

I made the beads the same way, but played around with the colours for different effects.
I also use different beadcaps when assembling them.
Look at how well they turned out!

More clay earrings with swirls!

I honestly did not anticipate that these earrings can cause quite a stir.
Woo-hoo!

Polymer Clay Magnets 2

I had fun with the cookie cutters I got from Carrefour.
Did you know that they sell FIMO clay now?
In case you are interested, go take a look at the stationery section.
Surprise, surprise...

Polymer Clay Beads

I had lots of fun with a bead maker I bought recently at a craft shop.
Just look at the beads I made.
Strictly not for children under 3.
Hahaha!! Looks good enough to eat, huh?

Mobile accessories

I bought the "Star of David" and "Hamsa Hand" from Israel as souvenirs for my colleagues.
I added flower glass and cloisonné beads.
Nice, hor?? Heehee... :-)

Beads from Israel

There! I finally got down to doing some scanning.
Here are some of the beads and findings I got from Israel.
Quite unique, eh?
Well, other beads are similar to those found in Spore, but much more expensive.
So I picked those that I have not seen before...
I have no idea what to do with them yet. Maybe necklaces, bracelets, pendants...
Maybe.

Polymer Clay Magnets

I made some more magnets for friends in Israel.
Well, I am a popular girl, ok?
Wahahahaha!!!
