Fiona's Bead Bar

This weblog serves as a showcase for my bead projects. They started mostly as gifts for my friends. I normally do only one-time pieces, so they are kinda "exclusive", if you know what I mean. :) Do check back often for updates!

If you see anything you like, feel free to email me, and we will work something out.

Look what I made!!?!

I went for a wire wrapping course.
Yup, I took the plunge and took a course.
Taught by a real professional, not by books that I bought or borrowed...
And I paid for the course myself.

Wire wrapping.
It was quite simple, really...
But hey, it became simple because I went for the course already, ok!?!
Wahahahahahahaha~~!?
I enjoyed myself, and learned quite a few things.

That's enough, no revealing of trade secrets, eh?
:-) Well, I made these pieces during the 2-hr course.

Beautiful, aren't they? My friends loved the heart-shaped one.
I personally liked the donut.
It is simple, and elegant.
Anyway, we also learn how to tie those knots that enable the leather cord to slide up and down in order to adjust the necklace length.

Money spent worthwhile, I'd say.
